Loading at Supreme Perlite

Expanded perlite ships by the pallet-load of 4 cubic foot bags, double-stacked bulk super sacks, and occasionally by bulk tanker.

Loading Hours

First come - first served. Monday - Thursday, 6 am – 3 pm.

Vans and Shipping Containers

For your convenience, we can now load dry-vans and containers by loading ramp. Use of the ramp is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Height restrictions and limitations: Double-stacked bulk bags can be up to 9 ft (108") all. Most high-cube trailers can accommodate these, unfortunately, refrigeration (reefer) units, vans with roll-up doors and some curtain vans cannot accommodate pallets of double-stacked super sacks. When in doubt, measure first and call us BEFORE sending a truck.

Loaded from the side with a forklift, pallets of 4 cubic foot bags and palletized bulk bags will need to be strapped down. Bulk bags of expanded perlite will settle from road vibration and this may cause straps to loosen. Straps will need to be checked and tightened somewhere en route to the end-user (after 50 miles, for example).

Tarping is typically unnecessary, but check with end-user on their requirements.
